V., Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, Germany, www.verbraucher-schlichter.de. This does not restrict your access to courts or statutory complaints authorities.
WithdrawalFull instructions, time limits and the model form are available before you order and are attached to your confirmation. You can also use the “Withdraw from contract here” function available throughout the withdrawal period. No compensation for use of this digital content is due when you exercise your right of withdrawal.
Early expiry of withdrawal rightsYour withdrawal right expires early only if all four conditions are met: you have expressly consented to supply before the withdrawal period ends; you have acknowledged the resulting loss of your withdrawal right; we have provided the required confirmation of both declarations on a durable medium; and actual performance has begun. If any condition is missing, the right remains.

Our products are digital content, not physical goods. Information about a commercial durability guarantee, repairability scores, spare parts or a statutory guarantee specifically for goods therefore does not apply.

1a. Contract language, corrections and storage

Contracts may be concluded in German or English. The contract language is displayed before you order. For customers habitually resident outside Germany, the contract documents and confirmations are in English. Customers in Germany can choose the German or English checkout. The product's language is shown separately.

We store the contract text and send it to you by email with the contract confirmation. You can retrieve and save the terms during checkout. We do not provide a customer account or subsequent retrieval of the stored contract text on the website.

You can review and correct entries before submitting the order using the edit controls next to the relevant information. You are not bound by entries that you correct before submission.

2. How to order

  1. Check eligibility and payment information. The checkout is for consumers habitually resident in the EU VAT territory of one of the 27 EU Member States, subject to the territorial exceptions listed in section 1(2) of the Terms and Conditions. PayPal is the offered payment method. We redirect you to PayPal only after you submit the order. Apple Pay and Google Pay are not offered through this checkout.
  2. Select your product. Review the product description and choose the intended edition and language.
  3. Review the order summary. Check the product, total price, email address and country of habitual residence. You may correct a suggested country. If asked, enter your postcode or select the part of Cyprus where you live so that we can confirm that the shop is available at your place of habitual residence. You can correct errors before submitting the order.
  4. Read and save the documents. The Terms and Conditions, withdrawal instructions, product and consumer information and checkout privacy notice are linked and can be saved. The email field explains the messages for which we use your address. For eligible German purchases, it also explains any one-off reference to our own similar guides, the right to object at any time and the absence of costs beyond transmission at basic rates. Customers habitually resident outside Germany receive transaction-related messages without this promotion.
  5. Decide on immediate access and your right of withdrawal. Both immediate-access checkboxes are initially empty and optional. They separately ask for express consent to early performance and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of withdrawal rights. If either checkbox is left empty, you can still buy at the same price; supply then follows the withdrawal deadline promised in your confirmation. Any longer mandatory right remains unaffected.
  6. Check the final information. Immediately above the button you see the main characteristics, total price and VAT note, absence of extra fees, one-off nature of the purchase, absence of a term or subscription and absence of personalised pricing.
  7. Submit the order. Select “Order with obligation to pay” in English or “zahlungspflichtig bestellen” in German. This submits your binding offer.
  8. Pay. You are redirected to PayPal to authorise the payment and then returned to our website. The checkout route also works without browser JavaScript.
  9. Receive the order acknowledgement. We acknowledge receipt electronically without undue delay. An acknowledgement labelled as such is not acceptance.
  10. Receive the contract confirmation. Our email confirmation is our acceptance of your order and records the contract. It includes the Terms and Conditions, withdrawal instructions and model form, and product and consumer information on a durable medium.
  11. Receive the download. If you selected both immediate-access checkboxes, we supply your download immediately after the contract confirmation in normal operation and within 60 minutes of dispatch of that confirmation at the latest. If either checkbox was left empty, we supply it after the withdrawal deadline promised in your confirmation, no later than the first working day afterwards. Any longer statutory right remains unaffected even after supply.
  12. Withdrawal remains accessible. During the withdrawal period, the prominently presented “Withdraw from contract here” function is available without login, including through the site footer and the link in your confirmation.

2a. Receipt of messages and deadlines

Whether our statements are received is determined by law, not by a contractual presumption against you. We record when our email service accepts a message for dispatch; this does not prove that it has reached you.

That dispatch record is used for our own performance deadlines. Calendar-day references use Europe/Berlin, while an explicit 60-minute limit remains 60 minutes. A refund deadline triggered by receipt of your declaration runs from that receipt. None of your rights or deadlines is shortened. The statutory withdrawal period begins on conclusion of the contract, independently of our dispatch record.

If a message is missing, email [email protected] and we will send it again.

3. Contract text

We store the contract text and provide it with the confirmation on a durable medium. You can save the contractual terms before ordering. Since we do not provide a customer account, the stored contract text cannot subsequently be retrieved from an account on our website.

4. Technical information and updates

Format. The product page and your order information identify each file format.

Software and access. You need software capable of displaying that format. After downloading, no registration, account or internet connection is required to use the document.

Protection measures. There is no DRM, copy protection or watermark-based access restriction. You can save and back up the downloaded file and open it on your own devices, subject to the licence terms.

Compatibility and interoperability. Files can be read by software supporting their format and do not require a particular operating system or device. Product-specific known limitations are stated with the product.

Updates. You buy one-off supply of a completed document as at the stated content date. We provide and inform you about updates necessary to maintain conformity for the period you may reasonably expect given the product's nature and purpose (section 327f(1) BGB). This does not promise a continuing revision or new edition.

Software-update period. A static PDF/ZIP document without a software component does not receive software updates. The obligation to provide necessary conformity updates is unaffected.
